The Runaway beach Jamaica is also located twenty minutes from the resort town and offers an intimate and pleasing setting. This is one of the newer attractions in this resort with additional offerings such as tropical flowers, natural springs, water sports activities, boardwalk and other interesting sites.

You can enjoy a relaxing swim or participate in games such as volley ball. There are facilities to get food and drinks and also to rent your umbrellas and sun beds.

The Dunn’s River Falls offers one of the best beach areas along with the falls and is one of the most stunning spots on the island. Climb the falls and then take a swim in the enticing waters with its pristine white sand; very stimulating what more could you ask for.

This lovely spot is divine as you can also relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the tropical surroundings and sunshine. This Dunn’s River Falls is recognized as the most celebrated attraction in Jamaica, on your visit you too will attest to that.

The James Bond Beach can be found just twenty miles west of the town of Ocho Rios. This is truly a magnificent spot with a picturesque setting that is surrounded by clear sparkling water and an astounding lush mountainside providing a beautiful backdrop. If you are interested in good food, relaxation, fantastic sceneries and lots of excitement; you get all of this and more in this one location.

If you want more than just the swimming, there is a guided wave runner tours that will take you on interesting journey. You get to see more breathtaking views and pass by the famous Golden Eye; this is the place where the James Bond novels were written by Ian Fleming.

You also get to feast on fresh fish and other wonderful seafood dishes that are available from the bar and grill located on the property. This is also a popular spot for both local and international concerts and also a favorite for visitors to this area.

The Turtle Beach is located in the town, a cozy little spot that is surrounded by tropical plants. If you are looking for quiet and relaxing atmosphere from the busy town, this spot allows you to do just that. There are activities if you want more than just swimming, you have kayaks, scuba diving and jet skis available. There is a small entrance fee and facilities for you to purchase food and drinks, rent beach chairs and umbrellas and shower and changing rooms.

The Mahogany Beach can be found just off the main street in the town. This is a smaller alternative to the other areas and offers intimate and lovely setting. There is no admission to enter and it is very easy to find. If you are walking in an easterly direction when you pass the Bibibips Bar and Grill you would make a left turn. There is a restaurant on the property to provide with some good local dishes and drinks.

The Mallards Beach is also located in the center of the town and is central spot as most of hotels can be found in this area. This is not very secluded like some of the other areas, but is still an excellent choice for friends and families to enjoy a wonderful time away from the crowds. There is plenty of food and activities to last you through the day.

The Reggae Beach is a public beach that still offers some secluded areas while you enjoy the beautiful scenery. At this location you will find numerous locals and you get the true Jamaican beach experience as you join the many activities that is available.

You don’t have to worry about hassles from the locals all you will get is good fun and food. There are plenty authentic dishes that you can sample here such as fish and bammy, jerk chicken and many more, while you enjoy a cool red stripe beer.
