The seven mile stretch of sparkling white sand that is famous all over the world, this is the longest beach that can be found on the island. You will find the waters very warm and shallow for the most part because the waves are usually restricted to ripples on the slope of the sea bed and water surface.

The Long Bay Beach can be found on the outskirts of the town and is a favorite for the locals. During the week there is not much activity you get some peace and quiet while you bask in the sun.

But this does not hinder persons from going there as the amenities and other activities make the price well worth it.
