1. The Winifred Beach in Portland is another popular one, with wide white sand beach, calm clear and brilliant blue waters; it’s a hit with visitors and locals. With an enchanting reef just offshore, it’s a spot that is perfect for snorkeling. When you visit do try the sumptuous meal of jerk that is a specialty in Portland.

2. The Boston Bay Jamaica beach is located in Port Antonio and offers a picturesque setting amidst some almond trees. This spot offers some of the best waves for some good surfing; it is a small bay that offers much seclusion. You will find some of the original jerk stalls lined this area where you can get to sample some jerk chicken and pork.

3. The Cardiff Hall Beach can be found in Runaway Bay, St. Ann’s. This is one that is open to the public and is a good location for friends, family or groups to enjoy a fun filled day. If you want a little quiet area away from the town to just relax, have a swim or read a book, this is a nice get away. There is changing rooms and restaurant and bar at your convenience.

4. The Grande Beach is located in Ocho Rios and is an easy walk when exploring. For a little seclusion from the busy activities in the town, you could check out this spot. This is a central location as it is close to major hotels. Some of the activities that you can enjoy here is diving off cliffs and parasailing.

5. The Fairy Hill Beach can also be found in Port Antonio, with it peaceful and lush surroundings. This is one of the spots that is unusual to see crowds of people and you get to enjoy some good swimming. There are not many facilities on the property, but numerous places are located nearby and will be happy to deliver meals to you.

6. The Navy Island Beach is also located in the beautiful town of Port Antonio. This is a wonderful swimming area with it lovely white sands and crystal clear waters. Another location that offers seclusion although it’s open to the public, there is never much crowd. There are numerous water sports activities here such as snorkeling, scuba diving and parasailing, the underwater adventure will love this spot.

7. The Naggo Head Beach is typically a fisherman’s haven that is located just off the Hellshire coastline, near to the city of Kingston. With lovely white sand, cool waters and hidden caves this is a spot worth exploring. The sounds that you will hear will relax and calm you to sleep, this is really lovely spot to just hang out and watch as the fisherman’s bring their bounty to shores.

8. The Font Hill Jamaica beach is located on the south coast; you will find it between Whitehouse and Black River. This is one of the most popular spot in this area; there are always some fun activities on the weekends and holidays. During the week it is somewhat quiet and it has a good safe area that is roped off for swimming. There are facilities such as bar, changing rooms, lifeguards, picnic area with tables under a gazebo, lockers, toilets and much more. There is an entrance fee to access this beach.
